We have had these markers for over a year and they are still holding up really well, and none of them have dried up. My 3 year old loves to scribble so they get a lot of use. The colors are very vibrant and there is such a nice variety. I agree with the other reviewers that the telescoping function leaves a little to be desired. You have to extend the tower up, and then twist it slightly to get it to "lock" in place. You also have to snap the two parts of the lid together so it stays up. This is the part we have the most trouble with actually. My 3 year old can't telescope the tower or snap the lid by herself. Sometimes we just leave it down and she just flips the lid and grabs the markers she wants. When we first bought it, she needed help recapping the marker tops completely, but she can do it independently now. The markers are short which encourages a good gripping pattern.
