I bought this for my mature 6 year old. She really liked it for the first 15 minutes, but I ended up having to finish the craft for her. The needle is real and I was a little worried she'd hurt herself. She did drop it a few times and we had to comb the carpet to find it. So it's not the most relaxing craft, but the end result is really cute and I think she'll want to do it again.
