We purchased this for my daughter's 9th birthday...this was her FAVORITE gift! I wanted to give her something she could use to make usable gifts for others (she loves to give gifts!). She's already done this four times, and is now working on making a purse for herself. I love that I can order more loops from Harrisville Designs...and in specific colors...I can definitely see that I will become a regular customer on their website! ;o) This product is very well made - the metal loom is all one piece and very sturdy.
