My six year old daughter loves arts and crafts so, I ordered this for her for Christmas. The metallic mosaic tiles are colorful and come in sheets where each tile has to be separated before use. This is a bit tedious but, it is only a one-time task. It comes with several picture diagrams that show how to complete each project. I did one of them first. I enjoyed creating the beautiful picture even though it took me several hours to complete, which makes me somewhat reluctant to dismantle it. I think it is too advanced for a six year old child and the little tiles can be too easily lost but, would be great for older children and adults. However, I would not recommend this for someone who is not willing to invest a lot of time with it. This set is well constructed and should last a long time if the proper care is taken.
