Holiday Arts Pumpkin Power Carver Right now

I had purchased a similar carver from my local grocery store a few years previously, and really loved the way it enabled me to make more complex shapes on the pumpkin without getting carpal tunnel syndrome. Eventually, the blade broke, though, and I was really excited to get this new one and get carving. But, what a waste of money. First of all, you have to completely take the entire thing apart to put the batteries in it. And by that I mean, exposing, dismantling and reassembling the entire gear mechanism that runs the tool. Once I'd done this delicate surgery on it, I went to turn it on, and.....nothing. So, I went back through the dismantling process again, reseated the battery, reassembled it again, and....nothing. So, I went back in and at that point, I found out that it had come with a wire that was not connected, and couldn't be reconnected without a soldering iron. PHOOEY. Too bad - poor execution on a good idea. I went back to old fashioned knives this year.Get more detail about Holiday Arts Pumpkin Power Carver.
