I take this to restaurants and it keeps my 2 year old busy till food comes. It comes with a pen but she loves taking my water straw or ice to 'color' with. What happens is once the water hits the page the picture appears. AND, to make it more awesome, the pictures dry so that you can color the pages again and again.
