I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and it was a good way for her to learn how to knit. The very chunky pink yarn and the huge needles were perfectly sized for little hands. I must say that our success with this product was due in large part to the youtube video from AlexToys explaining visually how to cast on and knit. The video was excellent and my daughter knitted her scarf in no time. (I also learned how to knit from the video!) Her friends are now interested in making the same scarf.
