I purchased this as a birthday present for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. It came exactly as represented. My husband helped her put it together. He said with a little help she was able to put it together. The only drawback was the nails were rather short. He was afraid it wouldn't hold up for a very long time, so... he also added some longer screws to it to make it a little more longlasting.
