My son just turned three and loves this kit. He did the rocket right away out of the box and completed it in one setting. The self stick pieces are easy enough for a older toddler younger preschooler to peel and manipulate all by themselves, and helps refine fine motor skills. To create he mosaic (thre are 5 different ones in the kit), the child matches color and shape to the design on the board. A wonderful hand/eye coordination activity and reinforcement of shapes and colors. The finished product is really pretty and the cardboard is sturdy enough to keep up on the wall for a long time. The kit comes with self stick hangers too, for just that purpose. I will be looking for more kits like this to take on trips, restaurants, and playdates.
