This is not a toy and doesn't have much educational value... unless you want to educate your 18yr old on the progression of their life :) It's perfect for documenting the important years that tend to get away from us all... The front cover has 14 frames for pictures PK-12. Each page is dedicated to a grade level with things like "Favorite TV Show, Best Friends, Teacher, Favorite Subject etc..." There's a line at the bottom of each page for "How I Write My Name / Signature". There's a pocket between each front and back page that acts as a folder to save things like report cards and miscellaneous. It's a really great keepsake and it's fun to add a new page with your little one. Enjoy it as much as I have...
