MY 3 year old daughter really wanted her own umbrella, and after searching for Hello Kitty and My Little Pony, we settled on this one because she wanted to color it herself.
We never colored it. She loves that it is hers, and she's carried it around several times now. It is no longer 100% perfect, but seems durable enough that I'm comfortable letting her use it on her own.
