As a parent I would say the following- this set came with a good choice of fabrics, trims and items needed to create a number of different fashion pieces. The one slight negative (and remember this comes from an adult's perspective) is the dress form's stability. It does tip over when you are working on it if you are not holding it steady. This is a result of a the small 3 pronged base. The actual dress form is not a Barbie-type body shape, but to be truthful that doesn't bother me at all and probably more appropriate for the age group that will be using this. It is soft enough for the pins to be inserted easily. It is a nice looking dress form so it is cute displayed on a desk or shelf also. From my perspective this set is great.
Now, from my daughter's perspective (8 1/2 years old)- She LOVES this set and sometimes much to my dismay, wants to work with it all the time. She would absolutely recommend this to any young fashion designer wannabe out there!Get more detail about Fashion Design Studio.
